House Rules – Romantic Venice

Dear Guests,

As your hosts, our goal is to offer you an exceptional experience in terms of cleanliness, safety, and comfort.

This document outlines the conditions of stay in the two apartments made available to you by Romantic Venice, establishing a set of conduct rules meant to ensure a pleasant experience for all our guests.

These rules are based on industry standards, internal procedures, and our hospitality experience. By making a reservation, guests are deemed to have accepted all the policies and conditions stated in this document.

House rules may be updated at any time. The latest version will always be displayed inside the apartment and updated on our website: romantic-venice.com.

To ensure the safety and comfort of all guests—and to make you want to return—we kindly ask you to follow the rules below

  • Guest / Tourist refers to any person benefiting from services provided by Romantic Venice.
  • Check-in is done via self check-in. Before accessing the apartment, guests are required to complete the check-in process on the national platform: www.mymaisonapp.com. Romantic Venice will verify the guest’s identity.
  • From the moment the guest collects the key/access card from the key locker, until it is returned, the guest is fully responsible for the apartment.
  • Visitors must be announced in advance by the guest to the Romantic Venice staff. All visitors must leave the apartment no later than 10:00 PM.
  • Any incident resulting from improper use of the apartment or violation of the house rules is the full responsibility of the guest. Guests are financially liable for any damage caused to equipment, furniture, or technical devices, whether by them or their visitors.
  • Children under 14 years old may be accommodated only if accompanied by parents or legal guardians. Exceptions apply for organized group activities such as camps or competitions, where they must be supervised by teachers, coaches, or guides.
  • Teenagers aged 14–18 can stay only with the written consent of a legal guardian.
  • Any accident resulting from lack of supervision of children in the apartment or common areas is the responsibility of their guardian(s).
  • Parking- Romantic Venice is not responsible for any incident involving vehicles in the parking area.
  • Right to refuse service – Romantic Venice reserves the right to refuse accommodation or services to guests who disturb the peace or comfort of other guests.
  • Pets – Guests traveling with pets are welcome. Pets must be kept on a leash in all common areas and must not be left unsupervised.
  • Personal Data – By staying at Romantic Venice, the guest agrees to the collection and processing of personal data in accordance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR). We fully respect and guarantee the confidentiality of any information provided voluntarily by guests or visitors.

It is strictly prohibited within Romantic Venice to:

  • Check in while intoxicated or behave inappropriately / use offensive language toward staff or other guests.
  • Smoke or vape inside the apartment. Smoking is allowed only in designated outdoor areas.
  • Bring or use flammable materials or high-consumption electric devices (e.g., space heaters, radiators, kettles).
  • Store objects or food on the exterior window sill.
  • Use audio systems at high volume.
  • Use apartment inventory for purposes other than intended. For example, towels must not be used for: removing makeup, drying dyed hair, cleaning shoes, luggage, or floors. They are for personal hygiene use only.
  • Possess or store weapons or illegal substances in the apartment.
  • Consume or sell hallucinogenic or psychotropic substances, which are punishable under applicable laws.

Guests have the following obligations:

  • Not to take any hotel property upon departure (e.g., towels, linens, décor).
  • Not to damage hotel property. In case of damage, the guest will be charged for the value of the item plus the cost of repairs.
  • To use only the apartment and common areas intended for guests, and not to enter restricted areas.
  • Not to leave children or pets unsupervised.
  • To report any malfunction in the apartment as soon as possible.
  • To maintain peace and behave respectfully toward other guests at all times.

Violation of the house rules entitles Romantic Venice to:

  • Request the involvement of local authorities to ensure order and safety.
  • Cancel the reservation and/or charge for any damages caused.

Romantic Venice also reserves the right to refuse future bookings from guests who previously violated these rules.

These house rules are regularly updated to reflect changes in legislation, as well as feedback from our guests, staff, and partners—so we can continue providing a safe and pleasant experience for everyone.
